Dr. Christopher Garcia, DMD
Founder of Iconica Dental Group
Meet Dr. Christopher Garcia, D.M.D., D.D.S.
Dentistry Redefined in Hallandale Beach
Dr. Christopher Garcia, DMD, is the Founder and Clinical Director of Icónica Dental Group in Hallandale Beach, Florida. The philosophy of Icónica is a direct reflection of Dr. Garcia’s dual-degree expertise (DMD and DDS). As a leading dentist in Hallandale Beach, his life’s work is dedicated to blending the art of compassionate care with the precision of advanced dental science. This core belief—that every patient deserves to be treated with the utmost respect, listened to intently, and provided with care that is perfectly tailored to their individual needs—is the foundation of our practice.
Dentistry, for Dr. Christopher Garcia, DMD., is more than a profession; it’s a unique intersection of medicine, engineering, and artistry. It’s the practice of restoring health, function, and confidence, one smile at a time. This vision has guided his journey through dual degrees in dentistry and extensive specialized training, and it is the living embodiment of our motto: Exceptional Care, Devoted to You.
A Foundation of World-Class Excellence
Driven by a commitment to excellence, he sought out highly demanding clinical settings. This included externships at major hospitals (Jackson Memorial Hospital, Broward General Hospital, and Memorial General Hospital) and a year-long elective honors program in Oral Surgery at Nova Southeastern University. His comprehensive skill set was further developed through advanced honors electives in Advanced Periodontics, Pain and Anxiety Management, and the management of Medically Compromised and Special Needs Patients.
A Pioneer in Dental Innovation
Dr. Garcia is not just a clinician; he is an innovator passionate about advancing the field of dentistry. He is the founder and creator of “OralSurg”, a groundbreaking interactive mobile application designed to empower dental students and professionals. This powerful tool provides a comprehensive guide for oral surgery, covering pharmacology, patient management, and surgical techniques.
His forward-thinking approach earned him the honor of being a finalist presenter at the International Association of Dental Research (IADR) for his work on the app. His research continues to explore the cutting edge of the field, including topics like “Harnessing DNA Splicing for Regenerative Dentistry.” This drive to merge technology with clinical practice ensures that patients at ICÓNICA DENTAL GROUP benefit from the most modern and effective treatments available.
A Heart for Service: At Home and Abroad
Dr. Garcia’s philosophy is built on a foundation of compassion and service. He has dedicated a significant part of his life to delivering essential healthcare to communities most in need.
In 2019, he founded “ONE SMILE AT A TIME,” a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity. Leading a dedicated team of volunteer doctors, Dr. Garcia has been instrumental in providing free oral surgery, medical treatment, and vital supplies to thousands of people in need, delivering over $40.5 million in donated care.
His commitment also extends to communities here at home, completing numerous mission trips with Remote Area Medical (RAM) across the United States. This lifelong dedication to volunteerism was recognized at the highest level when he was awarded the United States Presidential Service Award.
A Foundation of Leadership and Discipline
Before embarking on his dental career, Dr. Garcia distinguished himself through years of dedicated service in the U.S. ARMY Junior Officers’ Training Corps (JROTC). He was honored with numerous commendations, including the prestigious Medal of Merit for Leadership from the US ARMY Retired Enlisted Association and the Educational Leader and Mentor Award from the Congressional Youth Leadership Council.
This decorated background instilled in him a meticulous attention to detail, an unwavering sense of duty, and the disciplined pursuit of excellence—qualities that he brings to every patient interaction at the practice.
