Dental Crowns & Bridges in Hallandale Beach

Rediscover the strength and beauty of a complete smile with custom-crafted dental crowns and bridges at ICÓNICA DENTAL GROUP. A crown is a protective cap that restores a single damaged tooth, while a bridge is a solution that “bridges” a gap left by one or more missing teeth. We use the highest quality, tooth-colored materials for results that are both durable and aesthetically seamless.

For us, crowns and bridges are about restoring not just the look of your smile, but its full function and health.

The ICÓNICA Crown & Bridge Process

Your journey to a restored smile is a precise, digitally-driven process:

The Consultation & Digital Design

After determining that a crown or bridge is the right solution, we begin the design process. We use a digital scanner to capture a comfortable and highly accurate 3D model of your teeth.

The Preparation

Dr. Garcia will prepare the tooth (or teeth) and place a beautiful, custom temporary restoration. This protects your tooth while your final crown or bridge is being fabricated by our master lab technicians.

The Artistry & Final Placement

At your second visit, we will permanently bond your final restoration. Dr. Garcia will meticulously check the fit, bite, and aesthetics to ensure a perfect, comfortable, and long-lasting result, guided by his advanced training in Full Rehabilitation.
FAQ'S

Frequently Asked Questions about Crowns & Bridges

How much does a dental crown or bridge cost?
The cost depends on the tooth being treated and the material selected (e.g., Zirconia, E-Max porcelain). A bridge, which replaces one or more teeth, is a more extensive treatment than a single crown. We will provide a transparent, all-inclusive quote during your consultation.
Yes. Crowns and bridges are major restorative procedures that are considered medically necessary to restore tooth function. As such, they are typically covered at a significant percentage by most dental insurance plans.
Yes. For any out-of-pocket costs, we partner with CareCredit® and Cherry to offer flexible payment plans, making this essential treatment accessible.
A crown is recommended when a tooth is significantly weakened by a large cavity, has a fracture, has undergone a root canal, or is severely discolored. It acts like a helmet, protecting the tooth from further damage.
A crown covers a single tooth to protect it. A bridge is used to replace a missing tooth (or teeth). It is essentially three or more connected crowns that use the teeth on either side of a gap as anchors to support a prosthetic tooth in the middle.
A bridge uses the two teeth adjacent to a gap as anchors to support a prosthetic tooth in between. A dental implant is a standalone post that is placed in the jawbone to replace a single tooth root without altering neighboring teeth. We will discuss which option is best for your specific situation.
No. Dr. Garcia will ensure the tooth and surrounding area are completely numb before beginning any work. You will not feel any pain during the preparation. It is common to have some mild sensitivity for a few days after the procedure, but this is temporary.
It typically takes two visits. The first visit involves preparing the teeth and taking a comfortable digital scan. You’ll leave with a temporary restoration. At the second visit, about two weeks later, we will permanently bond your final, custom-made crown or bridge.
A temporary crown is a provisional cap that protects your prepared tooth while your final restoration is being made. It looks natural, but it is not as strong as your permanent crown, so we advise you to be gentle with it.
We use only the most advanced, high-strength, and aesthetic materials. Most of our restorations are milled from solid blocks of tooth-colored materials like Zirconia or E-Max (lithium disilicate). These modern ceramics are incredibly durable and lifelike.
  • We take great pride in the artistry of our restorations. We use a detailed shade-matching process to select the perfect color and translucency to blend seamlessly with your natural teeth.Dr. Garcia’s specialized training in

You care for a crown just like a natural tooth—brushing and flossing daily. For a bridge, you will need to use a special tool like a floss threader or a water flosser to clean underneath the prosthetic tooth to keep the underlying gums healthy.
With your temporary restoration, you should avoid very hard, sticky, or chewy foods. Once your permanent crown or bridge is bonded, it is very strong, and you can eat normally. However, we still advise against chewing on things like ice or hard candy.
With excellent oral hygiene and regular dental check-ups, your custom crown or bridge can last for 15 years or more.
  • A filling simply fills a hole in a tooth, but it doesn’t add strength. When a tooth has a very large cavity or has had a root canal, it is structurally weak and prone to fracturing. A crown covers the entire tooth, holding it together and protecting it from the forces of chewing. Garcia’s training in  Full Rehabilitation ensures the right, most durable solution is chosen for your long-term health.
