Dr. Christopher Garcia founded Icónica with a core belief: World-class healthcare shouldn’t just exist in a community; it should serve for the community.

At the heart of our mission is our non-profit initiative, One Smile at a Time. We believe that financial barriers should never prevent a deserving individual from smiling with confidence.
Through this foundation, Dr. Garcia and the Icónica team identify local residents—often recommended by community leaders or other medical professionals—who are in desperate need of restorative dentistry but cannot afford it. Whether it is a senior citizen struggling to eat due to ill-fitting dentures or a young professional held back by dental trauma, “One Smile at a Time” provides pro-bono smile makeovers to restore not just teeth, but dignity.

2. The Icónica Wellness Plan: Access for the Uninsured
Many of our neighbors in Hallandale and Hollywood are entrepreneurs, freelancers, or retirees who may not have traditional dental insurance. We don’t believe that should dictate the quality of care they receive.
We created the Icónica Wellness Plan specifically for our local patients. This internal membership removes the middleman (insurance companies) and provides our local patients with preventative care, exams, and significant privileges on cosmetic services for a simple annual fee. It is luxury care, democratized for our locals.
3. Senior Health & Education Initiatives
Hallandale Beach is home to a wonderful population of seniors who have specific oral health needs, from dry mouth management to implant maintenance.
Icónica Dental is committed to active participation in local senior health fairs and wellness events. We focus on education: teaching caregivers and seniors how to link oral health to overall systemic health (heart disease, diabetes). We aren’t just fixing teeth; we are helping our older neighbors live longer, healthier lives.
4. Prioritizing Local Emergencies
There is nothing worse than being in pain and being told the next appointment is in two weeks. As a commitment to our immediate neighborhood, we reserve specific “Emergency Blocks” in our daily schedule.
